On the 25th of September 2024, we joined the global community in observing World Pharmacists Day. A special day is set aside to highlight pharmacists’ vital contributions to health and well-being, emphasizing their role in patient care, medication management, and public health initiatives.
At Redeemer’s Health Village, we proudly recognize our dedicated pharmacy team for their commitment to enhancing patient outcomes and their role in the healing process. Our pharmacists at RHV are often working behind the scenes,provide essential care, expertise, and compassion making a profound difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
In line with the theme of this year’s edition “Pharmacists: Meeting global health needs” the Pharmacy team at Redeemers Health Village invited the members of staff and HODs to participate in special activities, including:
- Facility awareness tour: Office-to-office tour for pictures and price-winning questions asked to staff
- Symposium at RCCG National Secretariat for awareness on safe drug use essential in protecting public health. It involved educating individuals on the proper use of medications, understanding potential side effects, and recognizing the importance of adhering to prescribed dosages.
- A courtesy Visit to the office of the CCO and COO of RHV for a T-shirt and souvenir presentation.
- A visit to heads of department/ consultants for more awareness against the World Pharmacy Day event.
